Hi Peggy. I have Lee Co., Va. marriage records 1831-1934, except that the rcords are missing from Jan. 1836 to July 1839. Edgar, I have been looking for a marriage record for Eliza Jane PACE, daughter of Edmond Pace of Lee Co VA and Nathan WATKINS. Their first child was born 28 May 1844 in the Rose Hill Dist of Lee Co, which is where the Pace family lived. I was estimating their marriage about 1842 to 1843, and was told that book was missing from the Court House at Jonesville. Do your records cover this period, and if so, do you find them listed?
