Thanks to all who provided information on Stephen C. Burk and Hester Ann Cheek Burk. These people are my gggrandparents. Sarah K. Burk was my ggrandmother. She married John Dobson Morrison in Lee County on 5/20/1894 according to Lee County marriage records. I do have an additional question. Did Stephen and Hester have more than six children? In addition to Cora, Rowena, Sarah K., James, Nancy and Addie M, I believe that there may have been at least five more children, Evan, Mattie, Cassie, Mary and Willard. Does anyone know for sure? All of these names were passed through my family over the years.
