Evie, My Thompson line is William Thompson who was born ca 1725 in Ireland and came to Augusta Co, Va by 1746. He married Mary Patton ca 1749. They had Capt. James, Margaret, Patton, Henry, John, Nancy, Mary, Isabella, Sarah and Elizabeth. They later moved on to Montgomery Co, Va. Children scattered. Gay Nix
