She was lead in this direction through ancestry through the hints they provide to your tree! She said that there is a connection with this Thompson family and the Thompson Settlement Church and as our Lewis married Sarah Gilbert, daughter of Rev. James Gilbert, I do believe that she is right to pursue this line of Thompson's and there is mention of a Lewis and the actual line does have a son born of our Lewis's time frame but they don't put a name to this son? Does anybody have any info on James Mims THOMPSON & Nancy Jackson???
