Hello, Will of Elijah C Creech, Lee County, Va Will Book 2, Page 100 Written 7 day of April 1854. Probated Tuesday, 20 June 1854. First- I give to my two sons, Enoch and Elijah Green a boundary of land............. Second-I give to my son William all the remaining land on the south side of the river.............. Third-I give to my three sons Alexander, Lee, and Clinton all the all the remaining land on which I now live..... Fourth- I give to my wife Nancy........... Fifth and lastly- I give and bequeath to my several children not named. I appoint my sons Enoch and Elijah Green Executors. Elijah Creech died Lee Co, Va near Dryden 1 June 1854, Age 75, Abraham Edward, a friend, informant ( Lee County Death Register) Alexander Creech is a well proven son from the will in Lee County,Va. of his father. He was a school teacher in Owsley County, Ky in 1860. Deed: Lee County, Va 24 Nov 1866 (D B 15, Pg 710) between Dewitt C Creech of Lee County, Va and Enoch Creech of Owsley County, Ky.......1/2 interest in tract in Lee Co., Va, North side of Powell River and known as the home farm of Elijah Creech deceased for $800 and his interest in his brother G. Lee Creech deceased land. (no mention of the other 1/2 interest owned by Alexander.) Deed: Lee County, Va 3 July 1868 D B 15, Pg 709 Between Enoch Creech and wife Usley of Owsley County, Ky .....and Joshua E Hobbs of Lee County, Va.........$60.... tract northside of river being part of the farm on which Nancy Creech now lives. viz..1/2 of the land willed to Alexander L Creech, General Lee Creech, and D.C.Creech by their father Elijah Creech....... I have never seen a marriage record of Pleasant and Elender Lucas. Elender fits the window of possible daughter not named. Maybe someone else could answer this.
