Elijah had a son named Elijah Green Creech who was married to Nancy Spencer. Okay, Elijah Green Creech son of Elijah Creech and Nancy Spencer married Margaret McGuire, The lived in Lee Co KY. The children of Elijah and first wife were: ¦ Child 1: Isaac #2043 Child 9: Cilia #3145 ¦ Child 2: Elias #3138 Child 10: Mary #3146 ¦ Child 3: Jack #3139 (this is John) ¦ Child 4: Steve #3140 ¦ Child 5: Elisha #3141 ¦ Child 6: Jenny #3142 ¦ Child 7: Vina #3143 ¦ Child 8: Rebeckah #3144 These were the children named by Esaw Creech the son of Isaac and Mariah Pennington Creech-as children of Elijah. He did not name the children by the 2nd wife. There is also a possibility that Elijah was married between his Anglin wife and Nancy Spencer-her name was possibly Sarah hence the name Sarah was given to his Anglin wife. This middle wife could possibly be the mother of Enoch and maybe Clarinda. This needs proving. We have been unable to prove this thus far-working on it- Elijah did not have a son named Ira. That Ira belongs to Jonathan, the brother of Elijah. We do believe that Elijah did have a son named Alexander however-that aalso died at Camp Douglas POW Camp.
