Hi all, Not related to the Burchett or Munsey families myself, but have this obit to share. This is from the "Powell Valley News," Pennington Gap, Lee County, Va., Friday, June 10, 1927 issue, front page. Mrs. Gay Munsey Mrs. Poppie Burchett Munsey wife of Gay Munsey of near Pennington Gap died at her home last Thursday and was laid to rest at the old family burying ground near Jonesville. She is survived by her husband and two children. Funeral services were conducted at the home by Rev. D. W. White before the remains were taken away for burial. Beth familytr@att.net
