    2. Having perused the entire length of Wallen Creek (Wallens/Wallen's/Wallins) on July 3rd, I have to say the description posted is VERY accurate. I was in Lee, Scott, and Wise counties for the first four days of July. It is barely a foot wide and 3-6 inches deep in some places. It meanders accross the Lee County countryside and varies in width and depth throughout its course. I have fished the opening of Wallen Creek into the Powell River. There is an old grist mill near the opening. I have pictures of the mill which I will be posting very soon to the Hills and Hollers website.
