Hi, That actually sounds like my line of Thompsons. I have an Elisha b. 1786 MD md. Elizabeth Taylor. He is a brother to John Harvey Thompson who had a son named John Harvey Thompson who settled in Knox County, KY. We have a branch of Elisha Thompson in Clay County, KY so your branch could very well be related. Send me a couple of generations of your Thompsons and I will see if I can find a connection.
