I am trying to find what became of the sons of Anthony KING (d. c1886)and Mary Jane BUCKHART (d. 1908, Netawaka, KS), who lived at Trading Creek in Lee County. Their sons were: Eli KING - m. Margaret MOLES. Reportedly had a daughter Ollie(?). Richard "Rich" KING - m. (1) Mary Wadell(?) -- children were George, Burgine(?), John, Verda (m. GIBSON), and ? (m. STAFFORD); m. (2) Ellen WYRICK -- children were Mary (m. MORELOCK), Lizzie (m. PACE), Laura (m. GIBBONS). When my late grandmother, Mary J. (SHUPE) O'BRIEN visited Virginia in 1956 he had her picture taken with an Earl and Bell KING and also has a picture in her scrapbook of a Joanne KING. I assume these KINGS are descendants of Eli or Rich. Mary's mother was their sister, Almedia (KING) SHUPE; their other siblings were Kate A. (KING) THOMPSON, Sarah Jane "Sallie" (KING) QUINLEY SHUPE, and Anthony KING Jr. Any help on this KING family would be appreciated.
