Ariel, Hi! My husband is descended from both William C. Thompson and Elizabeth Thorpe and William P. Gilbert and Elizabeth Thompson. I have quite a bit on these families and would be happy to share with anyone related. We are getting ready to make a trip back to Lee County VA in the next couple of weeks to do more research. Would love to hear from anyone related. Nola L.
