Ariel, Thank you very much for the information. I'll check it against what I have to see if there is anything different. I have the information that was listed in the "Early Settlers of Lee County, VA and Adjacent Counties" and in another Lee County publication. I was hoping for some photos of Anthony (b. 1781, d. 1862) and Elizabeth Mace Witt (they probably didn't take photos that long ago). I have not been able to find anything on Elizabeth Mace's family. I'm beginning to believe that she was Native American since there doesn't seem to be a paper trail. The only thing I have found is a Henry Mace that could possibly be her father.
