Seeking descendants of John and Delilah. He was born in Lee Co. ca 1780's. Married to Delilah ca 1807 in Lee Co.(?). She was born 26 Dec 1786 in Lee Co. VA and is thought to be the dau of a Frederick Jones. Their issue: 1. William m. Keziah Sawyers 2. Margaret m. Buckner C. Howard 3. Rebecca m. John O. Johnson 4. Ferderick m. Jane Pitts 5. Mary 6. Thmas m. Mary Walker 7. Elizabeth 8. James m. Sarah Walker 9. John Haywood m. Martha Maxwell Kirklin 10. George m. Amanda Carnes 11. Daniel Jackson m. Keziah A. Kirklin They apparently left Lee Co. and moved to Bledsoe Co. TN quite early as all of the marriages took place with those well known families living in the Sequatchie Valley. With the changing of the county lines it is assumed that they didn't move, but were placed into the newly created Marion by chance not choice. John died in Bledsoe Co. 19 Dec 1833 before the change had taken place. With the changing of the county lines the family lived in Bledsoe, Marion, and Sequatchie Cos.
