Hello Corinne, Julia (Juline) Johnston/Johnson & James Bledsoe are my great grandparents. I don't have their death certificates, yet, but they are on my list to order. I've received their son (my grandfather), Evin Parkey Bledsoe's marriage certificate to my grandmother, Victoria A. Sprinkle & her death certificate. They couldn't find my grandfather's death certificate, because I had his name spelled Evan? Hope to get them all soon. I will let you know. Evin was killed in an explosion, in the coal mines, when my Mama was two. He's buried in Lee Co., VA. Victoria, my grandmother died, when I was 5 1/2. I remember her funeral, in Fairview, Scott Co. VA & visited her grave this past September 10th. In 1975, my Mama, Edith Bledsoe Harris went to her grandfather, James Bledsoe's homeplace. She sold her part to one of her first cousins, Estelle Phillips Fleenor, as did all the other descendants. Estelle was married to Harold Fleenor & they had lived on the place & taken care of it & paid the taxes for 30 years or more. (MaMa) Edith's father, Evin & Estelle's mother, Elizabeth Margaret were brother & sister. I have: James Bledsoe (b) May 12, 1855, Fairview, Scott Co.
