Mary Ann. I was told that many of the Hancock County records were destroyed in a fire many years ago. This makes it very difficult to verify what we think we know. I see you are an Anderson. Mary, Hancock County Court house has had 2 fires, they only have records from 1936 to now. --Mulberry Gap is in Hancock County, Tenn.
