Like everyone else, I am very excited about the possibility of purchasing a copy of the EARLY SETTLERS OF LEE COUNTY in the near future! But, in the meantime... My sister has a copy of "Hancock County Tennessee and its People, Vol. I", and in there is an article about the Bishop family of Hancock and Lee Counties. The author of this article, the late Vincel C. Bishop, referenced an article on the Bishops that appeared in Volume II of the Lee County book.
