Marsil, Actually, this Elizabeth is William S.'s sister. As far as I know, he had two sisters, Nancy and Elizabeth. Mary, or Mary Ann as she was listed on a later census, listed her birth place as Kentucky. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to figure out where. In 1860, 7 years after their marraige, they were living in Owsley Co. KY. Also, by 1880, Mary's mother, Nancy was living with her (Mary) and Nancy's last name was listed on the census as Livingston. Both women were listed as widows. This has been very frustrating for me. I just can't figure out where Mary came from. Judy
