I am a Combs descendant; and there was a Combs book that was written about 1900 or before (I've forgotten) -- anyway, the Combs Cousins (jillions of them) took the book and everybody sent their corrections, additions, etc. It took about two years or longer, if I remember correctly. Another book has not been done, but everyone's input has been put on the Combs website. It was a monumental job, and I think it came about just like the Williams thing -- because of so many found errors. Please don't write me, all I know is what I have submitted on my Combs line.
