That is a wonderful offer folks, I am excited about the books being reprinted as my family was early settlers of VA. I want the books with are without the corrections. Has anyone worked out the details of the cost and how many to reprint? Sometimes Local Universities will print for nothing but the money from the book for as long as the debt stands they will take and then the rest goes to Whoever, I assume the Historical Society. If there are enough copies spoken for to pay the debt of reprinting of the book than where does the rest go? There is a lot of things to be worked out concerning the reprint and everyone should be thinking about this, also it will not be an over night thing. I think you might be looking at a year or longer. Perhaps when the Society can get a good figure on the reprinting of these books they could set a pre-publication price and start taking orders. This way they would be guaranteed the money to pay for the expense of the reprint. From the interest on this board it sounds to me like they will have a good market for them. Marian
