I found some exciting information today that I thought I would share with those interested: "Traca King, 3 yrs., d. 1 Sept 1857; parents, Anthony and Mary King; b. Smyth county., Virginia" pp 16 "Anthony King, age not given, d. June 1885; parents, Robert and Betsey (Elizabeth) King." pp 125 Lee County, Virginia, Court Records, Volume I Death Records compiled by Ada Grace Catron copyright 1968 And so Anthony King's parentage seems to be finally revealed and a likely location to look for the birth of his parents or more family is also found.
