Sharon, I'm not researching Maggard, but in my Davis/Harris line I spot some in marriages. My grandmother, Birdie Jane Davis-Harris has a sister, Aunt Bessie (Nancy Bessie Davis & her husband, Clarence Edward Hodges who's daughter, Gladys Geniva Hodges, mar, Paul David Maggard (b) abt. 1911 (they all lived in Lee Co earlier, but I believe they moved to Harlan Co., KY). You may look there for more Maggard, as they had a son also named David Maggard. Also another Davis kin of Lee Co., VA (1st cousin of my dad, Vivian Harris), Elsie Mae Davis & husband, William Clendenon (b) abt. 1911, who's dau. Shirley Ann Clendenon (mar) Earl Ray Maggard, & had a son Davis Earl Maggard. I don't research them, but that's what I had, in my files.
