I am searching for any descendants of Frank and Roda MAGGARD. The Wise Co 1920 Census shows they lived in the Gladeville District. Frank, was b. abt. 1890 in KY. Roda was b. abt. 1894 in VA. In 1920 they had a son, John, b. abt. 1911 and a daughter, Hetti, b. abt. 1918. My grandmother, Irene Maggard, Frank's niece, was living with them in 1920. My grandmother's mother, Nancy Ann Sturgill Maggard, passed away in 1920 and the children were sent to live with relatives. I am trying to locate any of their descendants or any of my gr grandfather, Isaac Patton Maggard. I have been trying to locate pictures of the Maggards of VA including ones of my grandma, Irene, her father or any of the aunts, uncles, cousins, ect. My grandma Irene also had five brothers, Edward, Albert, Vilas M, Willard, and Ernest, who just passed away in Jan. In 1930 they were all living together in the Yokum Station Disrict of Lee Co. They were living next door to James and Rosie Sturgill. James! was supposedly a relative. They had children listed as Arizona, Dexter, Denver, and Henry. If anyone knows any of them or their descendants and can pass along the message that I am looking for them, I would greatly appreciate it.
