Thanks for the info, Crystal. I'm hoping to find William and Martha's death certificates to find our their father's name. There's some info that it may be a D. N. Wilder but there's no census during Rhoda Jane's adult life when there's a man in her house. She lived with her father as a divorced woman and then with her adult children as an older woman. I have her divorce from Ben Howard but have found no record of another marriage. On a different subject are any of you who are familiar with Lee Co. aware of an orchard that at the turn of the century was owned by two men, one of whom was William Lewis Wilder. His partner's son became a doctor in the area. Rene
