Elisha Smith and family are listed in the 1850 census as having real estate valued at $1,000 also in the 1850 agriculture census shows he has land 23 acres improved 86 unimproved Question.....I can't seem to find the transaction of him acquiring this land........is there anyone out there that may give me advice on this issue? phil
