I am the gr grandaughter of Isaac Patton Maggard and Nancy Ann Sturgill. I am interested in locating pictures of them and Nancy Ann's parents, ect. She died in 1918 and Isaac's second marriage was to Francis Holcomb. They lived in Big Stone Gap, but I believe he lived in Lee Co when he was married to Nancy Ann. They were married in Lee Co in 1903. They also lived in Harlan Co, KY when my granmother, Irene, was born in 1915. I am not sure when he moved back to VA but I suspect that it was after Nancy Ann died. Her parents were John Calvin Sturgill and Abigail (Abby) Stidham. The Maggard family descendents in KY and MO, along with myself, would greatly appreciate any help we can get in locating and obtaining pictures. They are the only part of the line that we do not have pictures of and it is especially important to me. My Dad lives in Appalachia now, returning to VA from MI after he retired but years away has left him virtually a stranger to the area and the peopl! e. Thank you in advance from all us for any help.
