Larry Robbins, You have a good question and I will try to answer it the best I can. There may be someone on this list who might be more knowledgeable than I. If your ancestor did not own the land, was not the agent or manager of the land being farmed then he most likely would not be listed on the agriculture schedule. I am not sure what the term agent meant but the manager sometimes might have been a son, son-in-law, etc either they were managing the farm for the father or their widowed mother.
