Hi Corinne, Believe it or not I have tried that route,,they claimed they couldn't find one for my GGreatAunt,,even though she died in Dec 1929,,I don't understand that at all,,she died in Mo and even know where she is buried,,I have tried to find a death record for my other side as well,,my Ggrandparents on my Paternal side and to this day nobody can seem to find anything about them either and they were alive on the 1930 census in Arkansas,,I just don't know what the deal is here,,I keep hitting dead ends,I have been trying to find the latter ones for at least 6 yrs now,,even know where they lived, her maiden name, thier birth years etc,,but somehow nobody knows anything about them nor can find any kind of record for them,,I may end up trying to find one for my GGreatAunt 'again",,maybe this time, who ever is doing the searches will come up with something for me,,with it being in 1929 when she died,I thought it was manditory to report deaths in Mo and you would think by 1930 it was suppose to be manditory also,, Thank you very much for your help,,any help is most certainly appreciated,, Leatha On Thu, 13 Jan 2005 12:47:39 +0000 Corky Chadderdon <[email protected]> writes: > Leatha: > I had some luck with 2 of my ggg-grandmothers, each born ca. 1820, > by ordering the death certificates of one of their children.
