Does anyone have information on the AERA PACE listed in the 1840 census near Rose Hill VA? She is listed as living alone two houses from the Edmond PACE family. It has been transcribed as ACRA PACE, but it easily could be AERA! Does anyone have access to death records that might tell us when she died, as we do not find her listed in any later census. There is a James WALKER shown living between Edmond and Aera/Acra. It is possible that this James was Edmond's half-brother, son of Edmond's mother Lucy Walker, who was widow of a brother of Stepehn Pace's first wife Nancy Ann Walker. Thanks for any help. Marian
