Tom, what Green family are you researching? The Sprinkle family connects to the Greens in Lee Co. through Lucinda Sprinkle who married James Green, 22 Dec 1827 in Tazewell Co. However, the family was in Lee Co. by the time of the 1830 census. Lucinda Sprinkle & James Green had (from what I can figure. . .and I welcome corrections & additions) the following children: Cosby Green - married Gordon Johnson Boswell Green - married (1) Nancy Powell & (2) Sally Garrison Luthena Green - she may be the Luthena who married (1) Burdine Johnson & (2) James Fields Justine Green - married Job Poteet Henderson Green Morrison Green - married Molly Elizabeth Cox Some researchers have suggested that Morrison's mother was James Green's 2nd wife, whose name was Mary; but I believe that while Mary raised Morrison, Lucinda was his mother.
