Am hoping someone can shed some light on JAMES ELDRIDGE (b. 1760-1770 and d. 1830-1840 Lee Co., VA) and wife Margaret (unknown). They are thought to be the parents of MOSES (b. 1781-1790. The 1850 Harlan Co., KY census, states he was born Surrey Co., NC); JOHN (b. 1790-1800 and d. 1835-1840 Lee Co., VA) who married Nancy (unknown); JESSE (b. 1800-1810 and died after 1830 where he was found in the Lee Co., VA census); and EPHRAHAM (b. ca 1815 VA and died after 1850 where he was found in the Lee Co., VA census). Would like to learn more about JAMES. Might he have served in the Rev. War? If so, from what state? VA, NC or some where else? I know there were many Eldridges up in MD.
