Hi All: I have completed some more additions to the Hills and Hollers website. Many thanks to the folks who are contributing! I am most appreciative. I have added pages concerning the old L and N Railroad and an article concerning an individual who spent some 70 years in the coal mining industry. I also updated the Death Certificate page. The Wise County VA Historical Society has been most generous and I would like to personally thank them for their efforts. We have undertaken a huge project and are slowly getting it done. If you have sent me something for posting and it is not up on the page yet, please give me a little more time to format everything. If you do not see it by next Friday, please email me and remind me! I have been a little occupied rebuilding the transmission and clutch in my truck for the last few days. After some initial incorrect parts, I am happy to say all is in order and seems to be working ok. Thanks to all those who sent suggestions and comments about that job. I used many of them! Last thing, I am slowly retrieving info about whom is researching who and where you are researching from my guest register. I hope to use that information to create a page to help allow folks to contact others who may be researching the same surnames or the same areas. As always, comments and suggestions are welcome.
