Does anyone have any info re Thomas Ely killed by a wound at the battle of Hanging Rock in the Revolution or his son George who moved later with his mother to Lee county Va. There has to be a large number of descendents as the census of 1880 has 118 of the total of 218 in Ba. living in Lee county. I would be interested in corresponding with any one who is researching Ely, Bays, Davi/d/son or Snodgrass.
