Thanks Kathy, The site helped me update my Norton Antivirus. They have a free site there to check if you have a virus. Unfortunately, I had not updated mine in a couple of months and I have the virus. I am going to have to reboot my system. It does not do a lot of damage, just sends emails to everyone on your address book. Please everyone check all attachments and update your virus detector. Don't be so dumb like myself, now I have a lot of work to do. I am afraid I will lose all my information. If anyone has any information that might help, please email the list. For those who keep getting the email from HAHAHA about Snowwhite, just block any further messages. It seems to have worked for me. I don't get it any more. Hey List, I have received six of these nasty things in the last two days. Fortunately, my Internet server support people had sent out a warning, which I only got a couple of days ago. I quickly updated my AntiVirus program and have been very careful not to open them. Still, it is almost like being under siege. How about the rest of you....have you all gotten many? I have a copy of a post card of the great stone face with it's original nominclaiture. Although I find it personally offensive, "those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it." I don't think that we should forget how hard it was (is?) to be a person of color in the mountains of W. Va, Va, and Tenn. This prejudice was so acceptable that even the checks for the Bank of Pennington Gap had a picture of the stone face with the words " ______ Head Rock" written below until the 1970s. Looking for info on families of C J OWENS and NANCY IVEY OWENS. I simply cannot be the only person in this world related to thses people. C J Owens (Charles) born abour 1810. Married Nanccy Ivey in 1837 in Grainger County Tennessee. At some point they moved to Union County Tennessee. CJ died in the Civil War. Some family members have found his grave in Knoxville Tennessee. Their son I V OWENS (Isaah or Isaac) moved with I believe to be his first 3 children to Lee County VA.
