    2. Michael Tyler
    3. Can anyone give me exact directions to the Rasnic cemetery in Stickleyville, VA? We recently drove around the Wallen's Creek area but were unable to find it. According to Jacob Rasnic's will he left a half or three quarters of an acre of land for a cemetery on land which he lived on known as the Young farm, the Kinder farm and the Cox farm all lying on the waters of Wallens Creek. I'm also trying to find out if there is a Glass cemetery on Rt. 612 West of Stickleyville on top of a hill to the right and back of Garth Mullins house. Could this also be the Rasnic cemetery? Thanks, Betsy Wilson Tyler d/o Patty Lou Bacon Wilson d/o Stella Elizabeth Glass Bacon d/o Charles M'Nelius Glass s/o M'Nelius V. 3. Yes, I think the fee schedule changed on July 1, 2001. I too think the fee change of an additional $20 is absolutely outrageous. 3. COST INCREASE FOR SSDI REQUEST??? ALL POINTS BULLETIN ........................................... To all of my friends on the LEE COUNTY WEB SITE--I HAVE A VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION. As many of you have referred to the Social Security Death Index on ROOTSWEB, you probably requested a copy of your ancestors Social Security original application . I have done this also, and was accustomed to the nominal charge of $7.00 per request. To my astonishment, please read [IN QUOTES BELOW] what I got when I had the Rootsweb automatic letter of request generator create my request....$27.00 per request!!! PLEASE SOMEBODY tell me this was some kind of typo, and that the fee didn't increase from $7.00 to $27.00? "My understanding is that the fee is $27, when the Social Security number is provided or $29 if the Social Security number is unknown or incorrect. 1. [VALEE-L] Re: VALEE-D Digest V01 #114
    2. Hi, To the best of my knowledge, early births were not recorded except in someones family bible (if you were lucky). Most information is derived from other documents (i.e. wills, census, land, death or cemetery, etc.). Wish it had been recorded, but alas, it wasn't. Braydic@aol.com

About two months ago, a cousin on another line I am working on told me about http://www.findagrave.com and how wonderful it was. I decided to check it out myself. There are two sides to Find A Grave - the famous, and everyone else. I went to the non-famous side and I found alot of information that others, like yourself, have submitted. This was great! Basically you type in a name, and a state where you think they were buried. If anything comes up, it lists it. The same thing with a cemetery look-up (except it lists all the cemeteries with that name and the counties they are in). Now what if the cemetery is there, but your family member is not? Well, if you have the info, you can add them! What if neither the cemetery or person is not there? If you have the info, you can add it. Best of all, it costs NOTHING! You can leave virtual flowers, messages, and even photos! To this date, I myself have submitted over 400 names, a few photos, and virutal flowers. I hope that you will consider visiting this site and making it the best site possible. Rhonda ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO!
