    3. Hello: How nice to hear from a descendant of Valders people. I presently correspond with a Steensrud lady who lives in Valders. She is on my mother's side of the family. My Dad was a Skalet, and his family also originated in Valders. I was there in 1989, and as far as I can tell, I believe it is a huge valley, therefore an area that is called Valders, but I can ask my e-mail pal who lives there.
