Researching the Skrutvold, Oie, and Holdahl families. Here is a good connection story> On last Saturday, we decided to go to the Our Saviors Cemetery in Martell Township, Wisconsin where the Skrutvold and Holdahl families settled after their immigration. Two Skrutvold descendants happened to be in the cemetery at the same time, and we had a small reunion, neither of us knowing the other cousins existed. As a result, we gained a lot of information and found the original Holdahl and Skrutvold farms with the houses in good repair and still being inhabited.
