I have had the following newspaper obituary sitting in my files for a few years now. Never wanted to toss it out in case it might interest someone with Valdres genealogy, but today the day of reckoning came to clean up my "den" (so called, very appropriately). The obituary is from the Saskatoon (Saskatchewan) STAR-PHOENIX, 12 June 1996, page C4. I don't seem to be able to find any reference to her or her parents in the most recent Valdres bygdeboker. I would like to hear from anyone who knows of Ragna's roots in Norway, as I have a connection to one Johnsrud family in my Hande family tree.
