Has anyone heard of a farm or cotter's place called FEKJAR? My ggggrandfather was Ola Sjurdsen Fekjar, married to Marit Timmansdatter Åmsrud (f. 1777, d. 1862, g. 1809). They lived on Svarvermoen after their marriage. Svarvermoen is part of the Nerby farm in Sør Aurdal. I found this information in Gard og bygd i Sør-Aurdal, Bd. D, p. 256, but I have not had any luck finding Fekjar in the bygdebøker vols. for Sør Aurdal or in the online census or Rygh. Thanks, Ruth C.
