Vickie in Minnesota and Jeff Marshall: Vickie, do you know if your Gunder Nilson Odegaard Lien (Gunnar Nilson) was the son of Nils Gunnarson (1760-1798) and Darta Olsdotter Kvie (1762-1796)? My ggg grandfather, Ole Nilson Odegaard (1789-1849) had a brother named Gunnar Nilson (b. 1793). Jeff, I think it is entirely possible the Odegaard Farm you mention was where the above-mentioned Ole Nilson Odegaard grew up. Ole's son, Nils (my gg grandfather), and his family emigrated in 1858 so I had no known relatives living on Odegaarden in 1886 or 1900. Kathy Solseth solmaple@aol.com
