Well, had to return the Index book for the Bear Creek Lutheran Cemetery, but have the information on file for future reference and for my tombstone transcription over the summer. Also, later this summer (after my guide recovers from knee surgery) will be going to check out a small cemetery not far from there which has some old graves. I don't know that it's the original Settlement cemetery, but it does have people from there apparently. For those with family at Bear Creek, just a bit of news about the church there. They are planning on adding on to the back of the church shortly, in part to repair storm damage. No graves will have to be moved. Look forward to seeing it. Lastly, thanks to the 10-thumb technology I use frequently, I have managed to delete my folder with all my Bear Creek correspondence in it. If any of you still have your messages to me (not through the list - I'll get those back via the Archives) could you please re-send them? Also, any other info on the Settlement you may have.
