Cousin Devonna - Sigrid Gundersdtr. Kongslien went to Ørmestad (31/1)in Vestre Slidre, married Einar Hen/Heen and had a daughter Birgit Einarsdtr. Ørmestad (1906-1942). Birgit married in 1932, an old relative of her father's, Andris Kristofferson Hen/Heen (1906-1981) and they had 3 daughters: b. 1934 Ingrid Sonneva m. Torleiv T. Hjelle from the M. Hjelle farm in Vestre Slidre. They had Einar Torleivsson Hjelle in1963 and Marianne in 1964. b. 1936 Sigrid Arnlaug married Tarjei Heggerd, from Dalen in Telemark. b. 1939 Anne Kristine m. 1939 Ola K. Jevne from Søre Jøvne My cousins met in 1993. What happened to Sigrid and Einar, I don't know. Supposedly, they aren't listed in the Vestre Slidre book. See you soon in Minnesota! I was able to locate her in the 1900 census, still residing with her mother, father and sister, Berit. In a family history that was done in 1980, it was mentioned that Sigrid married Einar Hein from Vestre Slidre and they had at least 1 daughter, Berit. Their daughter Berit is said to have married and Anders Hein and they had 3 daughters. I have not been able to get the Bygdebok pages to find this family, although I do have them on order.
