    3. Searching for info on this couple: Jonas Nielson Granum (b. 1805, Etnedalen; d. 1883, Mower County, MN) and his wife Anne Olsdtr, died before 1847 in Land or Valdres. Any descendants out there? The line would be through Ragnhild Jonasdtr, b. 1828, Klemoen farm, Torpen, Land (m. Hans Anderson in US), or Kjersti Jonasdtr, b. 1838, Espeset farm, Bruflat, Etnedalen (m. Simon Olsen Jorbratten (in US). These people were among the original settlers in Bear Creek Settlement, Mower County, MN. Another possible line would be through Niels Jonasson or Johnson, b. 1828, Granum farm, Etnedalen, thought to have emigrated to US also. Sincerely, Clarine Anderson Andresen

    3. Hi Clarine, I have a few Granums and Espesæts from Etnedalen. Niels Pedersen Granum married Joran Sorensdtr in 1730. Four of their children were Barbro, Peder, Karen and Soren. Soren married Barbra Olsdtr Espesæt in 1760. I haven't tracked down their children yet, as Barbro is my direct line. Let me know if there is a coincidence.
