Hi I am trying to research Christopher Tostensen born ca 1825 in Vang, Valdres. He died 25 March 1861 in Vang. He married Berith Ostensdatter Tvedt. They were both on the Tvedt farm when their bands were posted in April 1854. I think I found their family on the Qvien Farm. He died 25 March 1861 and I think Berith probably returned to the Tvedt farm with her children. They emigrated to Houston County in America on 5 April 1862. Their children were my ggm Ingeborg Christophersdatter, born 16 October 1853; Tosen Christophersen, born 31 Maqy 1856; Osten Christophersen, born 26 Nov 1859 and Christopher Christophersen, born 8 Sept 1861. I have not had any luck finding their parents in America or my ggm Ingebor's brothers. I am not sure if they just lived on these farms or were from these farms. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
