Dear List: I knew I had links to the Valdres area but I was unable to find anything specific. After ten years of searching and asking questions, a family member found a baptismal document that she forgot she had. My great great grandfater was Ole OLSEN - born Feb. 23 1868. The Christening date is shown as March 1 1868. The place of birth is Ulnes, Nord Aurdal. Ole emigrated to the US in 1889. His parents are shown as Ole Olsen hippe and Ragnild Andersdatter. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I would go from here? I cannot seem to find them in the 1865 census but Ole and Ragnild might not of been married yet. Thanks
