Hi, hope somebody can help me out. I am looking for the parents of the wife and dates for daughter of Ole Torgeirson Veningstad. Ole Torgeirson Veningstad born 1752, baptism Volbu church 14 mai 1752 He married 14 june 1776 Ingeborg Eivindsdatter Høve. In the bygdebook Østre Slidre B it say "the daughter of Eivind Bendikson is married to Ole Torgeirson" I can not find this daughter (Ingeborg Eivindsdatter) born, should be 1754. I can not find Eivind Bendiksson, no marriage, no birth but I have a guess. In Tore Ey 768 it is mentioned: Bendix Olsen Skattebu (1673-1768) was married with Synnøv Eivindsdatter. They have 7 children mentioned but no Eivind, which I think is a bit strange as it is synnøv's dad. The oldest child mentioned is from 1730 Ingebiør, and the youngest 1747 a Ingebiør too. I think Synnøv was a lot younger as Bendix. I found Eivind Bendiksson dead at Haavie in januar 1776, he was 56 years old, which mean he has be born at 1720. As Bendiks is a older man when he gets all this children, (57) I asume that synnøv can be his second wife, and that Eivind has another mother, maybe one Ingebiør. Ole Torgeirsson and Ingeborg have a daughter Ingeborg who should be born in 1782 died 1840, I cant find her baptism either. Hope somebody knows, regards, Pia
