Hello, I was wondering if someone could help me translate a letter if you have time? I have a letter that was sent to my great grandmother from her half sister shortly before the sister died. My great grandmother, Ingeborg Olsdatter Fauske/Kleiven was from Nord Aurdal and I believe her sister (Sigrid) was too. Later they lived in Vestre Slidre. I have been told from a cousin from Trondheim that the Valdres dialect is hard to translate and even harder when it's in old Norwegian. I believe this letter has both. The letter is 5 pages long but there are only 10 lines on each page. I have it scanned and I can email it to anyone who can translate it. If they don't want to download it I can post it on my web page if that's preferred. Whichever way is easier.
