I have a Richard Hardy b. 1567 in Wetang, Yorks, England. He m. Alice Wilson, who was b. Jan. 12, 1588 in Skillington, Bedford, England. I was given this info. from a distant cousin, and I am missing a whole generation between Richard and John. I need to find it, I have miss placed it durning some rearranging. But, as I read, I have some questions. If Richard was b. in England and d. in 1645 in Isle of Wight Co.,VA, then why was John, his grandson, born in England? Did Richards son stay behind?
