If you descend from him, we are "cousins". I am a descendant of daughter Sarah J., who married Joseph Spencer from New Jersey 17 June 1858. Wife Sarah was likely Sarah Askew, whose marriage to a William Powell took place 7 March 1833. The only other info I have on William and family is from 1850 and 1860 census records, plus an earlier contact with a descendant of Henry James Powell. In particular, I am not able to connect William or Sarah with their parents or siblings. Ken Grace
