I have info on a Ezekiel Nelms from Nansemond Cty, Va married a Elizbeth Brett from Isle of Wight Cty, Va dated around 1788. Could Ezekiel be kin to your Thomas and John Nelms. My grandfather Joseph Nellums is a decendent from this line. The spelling has changed many times on the census.
