You give reference to a will of his in 1746. Do you have and/or can you share a copy of this will? Or, will you tell me how to get a copy? You make reference to Wills and Administration of IOW: 1647-1800 by Chapman. Is this something on line or that someone can print from so that I may have a copy? Thank you all very much, Betsy Bryan-Tinsley >> ------------------------- Betsy, here is a copy of the abstract of the will of Thomas Dixon taken from: Wills & Administrations of Isle of Wight County, Virginia, 1647-1800, a 2-volume set by Blanche Adams Chapman (Genealogical Publishers Co, Inc, Baltimore, 1975). I do not know if this is still in print or not, but I make frequent use of it when I visit the library. I have copied all of the material that mentioned Thomas Dixon for my own use, which I shall be sending to you in a separate message. Regards, Ron 1746/8 - Thomas Dixon made his will, leaving son William Dixon the land bought of Godfrey Hunt, it being the land on which my son Thomas lived; son Nicholas Dixon; daughter Martha, wife of Thomas Pearse; grandson Thomas Dixon; wife Penelope; daughter Penelope, the wife of Joseph Bullock; daughter Mourning, wife of Joshua Crudup; daughter Patience, wife of Jonas Shivers.
